How can you make an impact?

The Custom Solution Developer within our Custom/Advanced Placement (AP) School division of McGraw-Hill Education is expected to complete the print and digital production work for customized educational products. This often involves working with SMEs and cross-functional teams to find efficient ways to repurpose or refine content for a more specified market or set of standards.

To be successful in this role the candidate must be organized, flexible, and able to work on multiple projects at once. The candidate should have a solid knowledge of project management, product development, and production. Previous experience in education or curriculum development is a plus.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

What you will be doing:

  • Plan, develop, and test print and digital products that are in alignment with requirements and specifications of the project
  • Serve as content generalists-artfully repurposing content to produce accurate, error-free, high-quality products that meet curriculum standards and market requirements
  • Track and follow approved workflows at all stages, and meet all intermediate and final schedules
  • Effectively communicate across multiple teams to ensure that market requirements, product requirements, project schedules, project budgets, and product needs are met
  • Stay up to date on emerging educational technology within the K-12 education field and adjacent fields
  • Manage external SMEs and production vendors to ensure products are built to requirements
  • Track and manage the overall spend for assigned projects

 

We are looking for someone with…

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Experienced team player with problem-solving skills who is dedicated to meeting and exceeding customer expectations
  • Excellent communication skills|
  • Knowledge of content development and instructional design
  • Previous experience working within a content management and/or learning management systems
  • Editorial experience is a plus

The pay range for this position is between $60K-$70K annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
