Position Description:

The Department Coordinator IV for Curriculum Development in the Office of Professional & Educational Development (OPED) will be responsible for management of OPED Regularly Scheduled Series (RSS) programs as well as responsible for uploading data (automated attendance system and some manual upload) for each program session. Review and editing of OPED applications and coordination with course directors and course coordinators to ensure all necessary information has been included and is accurate before sending to advisory board for final approval of Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits. Also responsible for file completion and closure for all CME live-event programs and assist them in auditing Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) accredited files for maintaining ACCME accreditation. Act as point of contact for the RSS content management system and online RSS CME platform. Provide support to OPED and perform additional duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate CME participant data uploads and transcription processes with the learning management system.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external constituents.
  • Review all applicates for accuracy and clarity before sending to CME & PD advisory board for final approval of CME credits.
  • Announce program approval to course coordinators and provide guidance as they manage their program. Develop individual program files for office use to be utilized as an ACCME program record.
  • Coordinate the closure and finalization of all CME live-event, enduring material, and RSS files, including a final review of the ACCME checklist, confirming inclusion of all data necessary to support meeting the ACCME criteria and standards.
  • Maintain OPED learning modules for all HSC faculty and keep learning management system up to date.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Continuing Medical Education Professional (CCMEP)
  • Previous work in project management, customer relations and ACCME accreditation guidelines.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
