The School of Medicine at Creighton University is hiring for a Curriculum Coordinator role to support the Office of Medical Education (OME). 

The Green Track Curriculum Coordinator provides administrative support for the Clinical Skills & Experience disciplines in the Medical Education Curriculum.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for students, faculty, and staff in the coordination of curricular activities and clinical experiences of the green track curriculum.
  • Manage the implementation, execution & logistics of green track activities & clinical experiences.
  • Manage the long-term Clinical Skills & Experiences courses in BlueLine (LMS)
  • Maintain outlook calendar for green track activities and tracks student/faculty attendance.
  • Ensure appropriate rooms have been reserved for sessions inside and outside of the SIM center.
  • Participates in the organization, preparation, and execution of Orientation week for incoming M1 students as needed or assigned by the supervising manager

Provide support for green track learning sessions and clinical experiences:

  • Collect/track prework and presentations from faculty for green track activities/sessions.
  • Work with the staff/administration of the Clinical Education and Simulation Center to ensure that everything is in order for sessions that take place there.
  • Work with stakeholders across various departments to ensure adequate support, tracking of student and faculty attendance, and evaluations of clinical experiences.
  • Communicate logistics and details of sessions with faculty, staff, and students.
  • Provides back-up support to other curriculum coordinators in the event that coverage is needed, and the customary support is unavailable

Provide orientation for incoming and existing faculty to ensure that they are prepared to participate:

  • Verify faculty appointment, provide instructions to obtain a badge, provide parking information.
  • Connect faculty with the appropriate support for faculty development needs and assistance with educational technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 4+ years of related experience
  • Client management experience
  • Database experience 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Intermediate experience with Office 365.  Specifically, Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrated exceptional verbal and written communication skills, time management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent collaborator with top notch people skills; must be able to establish and maintain effective, cooperative working relationships colleagues, faculty, and students.
