Job Description

As our Content Developer, you will create educational content focused on ultrasound technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, multimedia content creation, be detail-oriented, and have a deep understanding of ultrasound applications and techniques.

Your role: 

  • Develop engaging and informative instructional materials for ultrasound training, including video tutorials, e-learning modules, and interactive presentations.
  • Create course shells, assign courses, and manage content within the Learning Management System.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of the content.

You’re the right fit if:  

  • You have proven experience as an instructional designer and media specialist, preferably in the medical or healthcare field and have a strong understanding of ultrasound technology and its applications
  • You have 5+ years of relevant experience in designing large-scale curricula, training, or education, particularly in medical devices. Curriculum and content creation experience is essential
  • You hold a master’s degree in adult education, instructional technology, or similar certifications (preferred)
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.  
  • You have experience as an LMS administrator, ensuring effective management and operation of the system
  • You are willing to travel 10-20% (including internationally) to visit customers and stakeholders
  • You have proficiency in multimedia design software, preferably Articulate 360, Adobe Suite, and Camtasia

Philips Transparency Details  

The pay range for this position is $90,160 to $154,560, annually.  The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.    

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.  Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found here.   

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

 Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.  For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to our Bothell, WA or Cambridge, MA locations.
