Summary:
A Curriculum Writer is responsible for developing educational content that aligns with state and national standards. This role involves creating lesson plans, instructional guides, assessments, and other educational materials to enhance learning experiences across various educational settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design with a proven ability to partner with SME to develop engaging, interactive and effective learning materials. This role requires a creative thinker who can translate complex concepts into user-friendly digital modules, video scripts and resources. Curriculum Writer:
- Develop Curriculum Materials: Create lesson plans, assessments, and instructional guides tailored to specific educational standards and objectives.
- Collaborate with Educators: Work with teachers, administrators, and subject matter experts to identify learning goals and ensure the curriculum meets educational requirements.
- Design Instructional Strategies: Develop engaging and diverse instructional strategies that cater to various learning styles and educational needs.
- Integrate Technology: Incorporate digital tools and multimedia resources into the curriculum to enhance learning experiences.
- Revise and Edit Content: Edit and revise curriculum materials based on feedback from educators and pilot programs to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
- Conduct Training: Create training materials and conduct workshops for educators on how to implement the curriculum effectively.
- Research Trends: Stay updated with current educational trends, pedagogical theories, and best practices to incorporate into curriculum development.
- Ensure Inclusivity: Manage the translation and localization of curriculum materials for non-English speaking students to ensure accessibility and inclusivity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years experience in related field
Occasional Travel as needed
