No, Arizona State University’s diplomas don’t specify whether you earn your degree online or in person. All diplomas and transcripts simply say “Arizona State University.” That’s because ASU Online students learn from the same faculty and receive the same course content as in-person students receive.

What is learning design and technology?

Learning design and technology centers on the design, development and evaluation of learning experiences that address instructional needs, training problems or performance gaps. Learning design and technology practitioners use iterative approaches, such as design thinking, to assess what their target audience knows and what they need to know. They use this information to develop a variety of instructional, training and performance programs across a wide range of organizational and higher education learning environments.
