The Job:

As a Technical Trainer, you’ll be part of our Industrial Smart Storage team working as a hybrid employee based in Marietta, GA. you’re a vital part of our Training and Implementation team, spearheading educational efforts that empower both our workforce and our valued clients and customers. Your primary role involves crafting eLearning materials, videos, and documentation. Plus, you’ll manage our Learning Management System (LMS) and lead customer training sessions to ensure that everyone excels in technical skills. You’ll get to:

• Design and provide technical training initiatives for both employees and clients, tailoring the programs to address the distinctive requirements of various teams and departments.
• Create training materials, including presentations, handouts, eLearning modules, and online resources.
• Conduct training sessions in person or remotely using web conferencing tools.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies to ensure training programs are relevant.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop accurate and relevant training content.
• Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure smooth delivery of training programs.
• Act as the client’s technical advocate within the company, promoting efficient and productive implementation of our products.
• Understand various deployment options and ensure they meet client workflows and needs.
• Develop custom documentation and solutions to match clients’ processes.

The Person:

• An Associate’s degree in Technical Writing, Instructional Design, Education, or a related field, OR equivalent work-related experience in Technical Writing and/or Instructional Design.
• 3+ years of experience in Technical Writing and/or Instructional Design.
• Experience in delivering training in-person or remotely through web conferencing tools.
• Ability to provide a portfolio of previous training materials.
• Willingness to travel (up to 70%) to customer sites.
