About the Training & Development Specialist: 

The Training & Development Specialist is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating effective training programs to enhance employee skills and support organizational growth. This role involves identifying training needs, creating tailored learning solutions, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The Training and Development Specialist collaborates with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment with business objectives and employee development goals.

Facilitates classroom training and asynchronous learning; new employee orientation, donation education, leadership development programs and other topics as needed.

Adapts delivery methods to accommodate different learning styles and audiences.

Develops instructional materials including presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, and job aids.

Conducts training needs assessments by analyzing employee performance, feedback, and organizational objectives.

Assesses the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics and prepares detailed reports on training outcomes, including recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or related field
3+ years of experience in training and development or a related role.
Proven experience designing and delivering training programs in various formats.
Familiarity with e-learning tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Preferred Experience
Proficiency in content development tools like Articulate, Camtasia, or Similar Tools.
Experience Facilitating Franklin Covey content.
