Selected candidate will report directly to the General Manager of the plant and interact with the local management team on a regular basis to ensure training compliace across all departments. He will have a good understanding of procedures as well as the relevant local legislation will be critical to the sucess of his role. He will be supported by the EH&S local and central teams as well as the training coordiantors in other plants. Other sources of support wil come from Quality with respect to compliance requirements for the trianining processess.

The team you are joining is dynamic and collaborative, comfortable working across ogranizations to solve problems.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Validating training requirements both procedural and legislative for site
  • Scheduling training for all employees in the plant
  • Review and update the Annual Training Plan
  • Support for all new hire onboarding (EH&S training and HR training) – employees and contract labour
  • Shop Floor – organize all technical training requirements, organize all EHS requirements, schedule required classes
  • Upload all training needs into new hire Workday profiles
  • Inputting of training records/course completions in Workday
  • Office staff – upload all training needs into new hire profiles, validate training requirements and schedule training
  • Gain the necessary training and knowledge to become a Workday TCII Administrator – support Plant 32 and 23 with any Workday issues, and adjustments. Provide training on various aspects to site training coordinators

Technical Training Coordiantion

  • Manage all shop floor training matrixes and assembly skill matrix
  • Validate AFS – Phase 3 and Phase 4 training completion
  • Quality Stamp Coordinator – manage all quality stamps
  • Coordinate refresher training for stamp maintenance
  • Coordinator specialized training for stamps (i.e. balancing training)
  • Validate/manage special training needs for assembler skills based on engine program requirements
  • “Return to work” stamp qualification/refresh training
  • Validation of vision tests for stamp warranty
  • Support training requirements during all Enterprise, FAA, AS9100 audits
  • Records Management for all technical training requirements

Additional Tasks For P4 Grade

  • Support EH&S team with tasks related to EH&S Programs in the plant
  • Support Facility Maintenance team with adhoc requests when needed
  • SRM creation for overall needs of the plant

What do you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor degree or college diploma
  • Demonstrated ability to be exceptionally well organized across IT platforms and filing folders
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs:
    • Excel spreadsheet creation and manipulation
    • Comfortable use of OneNote
    • Outlook email organization and calendar manipulation
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple mandates and projects.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with all levels of management.
  • Ability to manage high pressure and prioritize multiple requests
  • Adaptability, autonomy, and positive attitude
  • Flexible core business hours / Occasional evening and weekends support maybe needed.
