About the Role

The Trainer, Learning Programs will be responsible for delivering engaging learning programs that enhance employee performance and drive business success. The role requires a dynamic individual who can facilitate training sessions, develop learning materials, and assess the effectiveness of programs to ensure employees gain the necessary skills and knowledge.

What You’ll Do

  • Facilitate skill-focused and program training for new hires, current employees, and managers through workshops, virtual sessions, and instructional videos
  • Conduct learning needs assessments to establish learning objectives, and recommend training solutions in consultation with people teams and key stakeholders.
  • Adapt training delivery methods to accommodate different learning styles and preferences.
  • Integrate technology-based learning tools, such as webinars, e-learning platforms, and simulations.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and support to employees as needed to reinforce learning and development.
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to training programs to ensure effectiveness and relevance with key stakeholders
  • Engage with subject matter experts (SMEs), or external vendors, to support the development of specialized training content.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in corporate training, instructional design, or L&D roles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design models and e-learning development.
  • High emotional intelligence, adaptability, problem-solving, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms (Oracle, Degreed,, etc.), and virtual training tools (Zoom).
  • Certifications : APTD/CPTD (Associate/Certified Professional in Talent Development), CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance), or similar.
  • Skills based certifications: Insights Discovery or similar, PROSCI (Change Management), Lego Serious Play, or similar.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$114,000 per year – USD$127,000 per year.
