Position Overview:

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Technology Product Owner to assist with leading our digital solutions across Vision Americas. This role will be pivotal in helping to shape our technology strategy, building a comprehensive roadmap, and identifying measurable business outcomes as it relates to digital experiences, professional education and social channel management. This role will own the digital product team for LATAM and Canada (roadmaps, investment, outcomes, etc.) delivering digital engagement solutions aligned to global strategy, working closely with market stakeholders and engineers. In addition, the candidate will harness the power of technology to bring innovation and help craft the future of how digital supports marketing, professional education and social engagement within Vision Americas.

Key Responsibilities:

Vision and Strategy Development:

  • Define the strategic direction for digital solutions in professional education and social engagement.
  • Manage a detailed product roadmap that aligns with organizational objectives and priorities digital marketing, professional education, and social engagement.

Outcome Identification and Measurement:

  • Monitor and report tangible and quantitative business outcomes that these digital solutions will achieve.
  • Reinforce key performance indicators and analytics frameworks for tracking success and adjusting strategies as needed.

Product Development and Management:

  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, including concept development, design, implementation, and monitoring with a dedicated squad. 
  • Collaborate with partners to gather and prioritize requirements based on user insights and business needs.

Partner Engagement and Communication:

  • Engage with internal partners, including marketing stakeholders, professional education teams, and external partners to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Communicate the vision, strategy, and updates effectively to all relevant parties, fostering transparency and trust.

Documentation:

  • Build and maintain comprehensive documentation for social media channel management standard processes, agency inventory, and liaise cross-sector and cross-functionally to enable enterprise strategic goals.

User-Centric Design Implementation:

  • Advocate for user-focused development practices to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for learners and professionals.
  • Facilitate user testing and feedback mechanisms to continuously improve digital products.

Technology Integration and Innovation:

  • Explore and implement innovative technologies that can enhance digital learning and engagement.
  • Assess potential integrations with existing systems and platforms to ensure a cohesive user experience.

Social Media Strategy and Management:

  • Develop and implement a social media strategy that complements digital learning initiatives and enhances community engagement for Vision Americas.
  • Partner with marketing to monitor social media channels for insights, trends, and opportunities to develop professional conversations.

Qualifications 

Required 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies and product development processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical approach with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

Preferred 

  • Experience leading technology initiatives across multiple geographies and business areas.
  • Strong business acuity, with the ability to align technology strategies with business goals, objectives, and processes.
  • Ability to lead and prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with external partners, including vendors and suppliers.
  • Strong knowledge with social media/channel marketing.
  • Strong background in professional affairs, professional marketing, or professional education.
