Job Description 

We are looking for a skilled and versatile Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in technical writing, specifically creating marketing collateral and security document/policy writing. You will play a crucial role in producing clear, concise, and engaging content that effectively communicates technical information to various audiences. 

Location 

This is a hybrid role that will be based out of Cambridge, MA.

Responsibilities

Marketing Content Creation:

• Develop and create compelling marketing collateral, including but not limited to:
  • Product brochures
  • Whitepapers
  • Case studies
  • Website content
• Collaborate with Sales to develop sales collateral including but not limited to decks and one pagers.

Security Document and Policy Writing:

• Draft, review, and maintain security documents, policies, and procedures in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Work closely with the security team to ensure that all security-related content is accurate, up-to-date, and effectively communicates best practices to internal and external stakeholders.

Content Editing and Proofreading:

• Review and edit content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Ensure all content adheres to the company’s branding and style guidelines.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts, product managers, and other teams to gather information and insights for content creation.
• Seek feedback and input from team members to continuously improve content quality.

Content Strategy:

• Contribute to the development of content strategies and plans to support marketing and security initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Technical Writer
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and terminology.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using content management systems and collaboration tools.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
