The University of Texas at San Antonio Academic Innovation is seeking a highly motivated individual who is passionate about teaching and learning to partner with our faculty, graduate students, and staff as a professional Teaching and Learning Consultant. The job requires a unique combination of skills in faculty development, pedagogy, curriculum and instructional design, instructional technology, and course assessment for quality teaching and learning.
The Teaching and Learning Consultant will work closely with faculty, graduate students, colleagues in Academic Innovation, and other stakeholders to develop programming and professional development activities, materials, resources, and processes that support effective, engaging, and innovative teaching and learning practices for all course modalities.
Function: Provides expert consultation related to pedagogy, classroom management, learning theories, and course assessment to UTSA faculty and staff. Provides leadership in developing, planning, and delivering university-wide programs designed to improve and enhance quality teaching and learning, specifically emphasizing learning and assessment in all modalities.
Scope: Works collaboratively with campus constituencies and contributes to the development of strategies and programs in support of the teaching mission of the university.
