The Role

Are you creative and passionate about translating content into a learning experience? If your answer is yes, then your next position might be the Talent and Learning Experience Designer on the WI Talent and Learning team.

We are looking for individuals who crave collaboration and thrive on innovation to join our team in modernizing how Fidelity associates learn by defining the learner experience and exploring technological capabilities that promote growth, scale, and efficiency!

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelors or equivalent with 2+ years of experience or Masters with instructional design or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in instructional design and content development of online learning, classroom learning, and virtual learning in a corporate setting.
  • Creation of learner-centric experiences and content that incorporate sound instructional design methodologies and UX design with practical application.
  • Evaluation of learning solutions to close performance gaps and change behavior.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage own workload, and maintain flexibility in a work environment with changing priorities.
  • Ability to translate content from subject matter experts to meaningful experiences on how associates can be developed.
  • Collaborating with peers to build solutions that solve business problems and opportunities.
  • Experience in financial services preferred.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles with instructional design methodologies and techniques.
  • Problem solving skills to identify and create learning solutions to close performance gaps and change behavior.
  • Project management skills to complete deliverables using ADDIE/SAM models.
  • Analytical skills to organize and produce content that keeps the learner as the center of focus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven predisposition to presenting to all levels of leadership from associates to senior leaders.
  • Direct experience with building modern content using dominKnow Flow, Storyline 360, Rise 360 preferred.

At Fidelity, our goal is for most people to work flexibly in a way that balances both personal and business needs with time onsite and offsite through what we’re calling “Dynamic Working”. Most associates will have a hybrid schedule with a requirement to work onsite at a Fidelity work location for at least one week, 5 consecutive days, every four weeks.
