Compensation: $16.00/hour

Duration: 10 weeks (May through July)

Location: Virginia Beach, Virginia; Salt Lake City, Utah; or St. George, Utah

As a Chartway Intern, you have an opportunity to make a positive impact on your community. The Learning & Development Intern will be responsible for redesigning our current self-led Teller (Transaction) Training curriculum. Currently, the training consists of self-led courses, supplemental materials, reading materials, videos, activities, and tests. We would like to redesign the curriculum to better reflect our current and updated processes and to make the curriculum more engaging. Depending on what is discovered in analysis, this may include redesigning of the curriculum as a whole, in addition to the redesign of specifical materials. The Learning Development Intern will conduct an analysis and create a proposal for a redesign plan. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Collaborate with retail teams and team members to understand the teller transactions and branch operations
  • Conduct needs analyses
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to maximize essential outcomes Identity course goals, objectives, and instructional strategies
  • Identify target audience’s training needs 
  • Create objectives and select modalities based on desired learning training outcomes 
  • Create strategies for driving training engagement and participation
