The Corporate Learning and Development team is looking for a talented, fully qualified, and seasoned learning facilitator to deliver people skills, leadership development and other training content to our employees. In this position, the Sr. Specialist receives general instruction from the manager or senior manager on new assignments but little direction in day-to-day work. The Sr. Training Specialist may mentor or coach one or two less experienced professional staff.

Your Impact

TThe right candidate for this position will be able to:

  • Deliver instructor-led training in both virtual and physical classrooms using adult learning theories and advanced facilitation skills.
  • Adapt facilitation delivery and style based on peer, manager, and participant evaluation data to ensure effectiveness.
  • Train and assist in the coordination of existing and new training initiatives and programs.
  • Collaborate with other facilitators and the senior manager to ensure coverage of facilitation responsibilities and scheduling.
  • Mentor and assist with the development of less senior facilitators.
  • Partner with instructional designers to learn new course content, pilot delivery, and identify opportunities for follow-up learning boosts.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement after class delivery to the Instructional Designers.
  • Use the Learning Management System (LMS) to manage class schedules, enrollment and rosters, and completions of learning classes.
  • Update existing training modules to maintain accuracy of information and streamlined delivery.
  • Seek opportunities both inside and outside the organization to keep training facilitation skills and technical knowledge current and effective.

About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 5 years of related experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a training facilitation role.
  • Experience in facilitating to all levels of employees from individual contributors up to senior executives.
  • Experience using virtual classroom technology such as MS Teams, Zoom, etc.
  • Experience with instructional design/course development and with online course creation tools using SCORM and AICC protocols is a plus.
  • ICF or Gallup Strengths coaching certifications are a plus.

We are providing the anticipated salary range for this role: $76,150 – $114,040 annually
