Overview

As a member of the Talent Management team, this individual is responsible for will oversee the administration and optimization of our Learning Management System (LMS) to enhance the overall learning experience for our employees and partners. In addition to managing day-to-day LMS operations, the Senior LMS Specialist will lead special projects focusing on critical initiatives aimed at driving organizational growth and performance. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure the LMS meets the evolving needs of the organization, supporting e-learning initiatives, and driving continuous improvement in our learning technology infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

  • LMS Management: Be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the learning management system to ensure optimal performance, user experience, and data integrity.
  • System Optimization: Regularly review and optimize LMS functionality to enhance user experience and support learning goals. Implement upgrades and patches as needed.
  • User Support: Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and address inquiries related to the LMS functionality.
  • Content Management: Collaborate with content creators and subject matter experts to upload, organize, and update learning materials, courses, and assessments within the LMS.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Develop and generate detailed reports and analytics on learning activities, user engagement, and system performance. Use insights to make data-driven decisions and recommendations.
  • Training and Documentation: Develop training materials, user guides, and documentation to support LMS users and administrators and conduct training sessions as needed.
  • Integration and Upgrades: Evaluate new features, plugins, and integrations and oversee the implementation of LMS upgrades and enhancements.
  • Compliance and Security: Maintain compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and security measures to safeguard sensitive data within the LMS.
  • Project Management: Lead special projects related to LMS optimization, expansion, and integration with other systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, set objectives, and complete deliverables.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to developing long-term LMS strategies and roadmaps aligned with organizational goals, emerging trends, and standard processes in learning technology.
  • Partnership: Part of a globally distributed team that works on joint projects such as product training and consumer service models for all brands owned by Crocs, Inc.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Education, Instructional Design, Information Technology, business administration, or related field. Master’s or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience (at least 5 years) in learning management system administration and support, with a focus on special projects and strategic initiatives and a solid record of system administration and project management.
  • Proficiency in LMS platforms such as Success Factors or similar systems, including experience with system configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and deliver results within budget. Diligent and able to organize efficiently.
  • Analytical mind with a data-driven approach to decision-making and experience in generating reports and interpreting analytics to inform strategy.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong troubleshooting skills to address technical issues, system integrations, and user support requests. Ability to anticipate challenges and develop proactive solutions to ensure the smooth operation of the LMS.
  • Exceptional Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with collaborators at all levels. Demonstrated ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively in a non-technical way to diverse audiences.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong social skills to build and maintain positive relationships with partners. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and facilitate productive discussions to achieve common goals.
