Based in our Chicago office (hybrid) the Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for the administration of learning management systems (LMS) and other supporting tools. This role involves collaborating with instructional designers, facilitators, and the HR Technology team to enhance the learning experience and ensure effective use of technology in training and educational programs.

Accountabilities & Impact:

  • Set up and maintain LMS functionality including learning pages, pathways, journeys, course management, learner surveys, assessments and 3rd party content/files.
  • Create and monitor user set up including personas, permissions, notifications, as well as assign learners to appropriate courses, programs and certifications as needed.
  • Train users on system functionality. Build and run regular reporting on system usage, and journey/course complications.
  • Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot basic/tier 2 technical issues, act as primary point of contact for users and technical partners in HR Technology and IT.
  • Work with the HR Technology and vendor partners to test and implement system enhancements/releases and integrations with core HR system and/or new technical tools.

Own:

  • Data accuracy within the LMS.
  • Coordinating specs and system requirements with 3rd party vendors when loading content within platform
  • Regular system audits to improve navigation, eliminate redundancies, and enhance usability for end users.

Skills & Experiences Needed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 4+ Years Experience with learning management systems (e.g., DOCEBO mandatory with Canvas, Cornerstone, SuccessFactors, Blackboard, LinkedIn Learning etc. as additional).
  • AI integration and exposure within the Learning lens.
  • Strong technical skills and familiarity with educational technologies and multimedia tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Compensation:

Compensation offered to prospective Team Members has taken internal equity into consideration and can vary depending on a positions’ location. The final agreed upon wage may vary based on the job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the individual.

  • Competitive annual salary from $79,000 to $99,000 based in Chicago, IL
