What we’re looking for

We are looking for a curious, resourceful, strategic and experienced Senior, Program Manager Learning & Development to join an agile and creative team. This expert will collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and deliver our individual contributor programs. In addition, you will create and curate elearning courses and other multimedia elements (i.e. video and audio) and manage our learning management system, Workramp. 

We are invested in cultivating a culture of curiosity at SurveyMonkey and you will help build our learning and development portfolio. 

We hope to find someone who brings with them expertise, passion, and curiosity to accelerate our progress. You will report directly to the Head of Learning & Development.

What you’ll be working on

  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development team, People Partners and people leaders globally to understand the skills needed to be successful as an individual contributor and roll out learning programs or other appropriate solutions to develop critical skills for our employees that are aligned to the business
  • Design, develop and curate e-learning modules to support new initiatives and learning programs requested by business partners
  • Establish key program metrics, milestones, and goals
  • Deliver live or virtual workshops on a variety of learning topics
  • Manage relationships with external partners who build and facilitate content
  • Iterate on program content based on employee feedback
  • Do other new, fun and creative stuff we haven’t thought of yet

We’d love to hear from people with

  • 8+ years of experience in related work such as instructional design and developing learning content. However, depth of skill and role-related competence will be prioritized over years of experience. 
  • Experience managing a Learning Management System (LMS) software platform (WorkRamp, Degreed, Cornerstone Learning, etc.)
  • Experience with elearning development tools and a desire to build best-in-class online learning experiences 
  • Experience partnering with senior-level executives
  • Anticipates challenges and problems and proactively takes action to address them
  • Experience as a facilitator in small and large group settings, in person or on Zoom. You bring experience and passion for creating and executing best in class learning experiences. 
  • A collaborative approach to work. You naturally jump in to help colleagues solve problems and welcome others to help you, too
  • An understanding that every business or performance problem requires a training solution.

The base pay provided for this position ranges from $114,240 / year – $154,560 / year depending on the geographic market and assuming a full-time schedule. Actual base pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education or training, skills, and experience.

Bonuses and commissions may also be offered as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; paid holidays; paid time off; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
