Job Overview

Intuit’s Small Business and Self-Employed Group (SBSEG) is committed to creating tools and services that dramatically increase a Small Business’ ability to manage their cash flow. The Risk Operations team supports SBSEG by protecting Intuit and our Small Business Customers from financial losses resulting from fraud or credit risk. The team operates in a dynamic environment and uses extensive research, analysis, and customer empathy to drive decisions that have a significant impact on both our customers and on Intuit.

We’re in the midst of an exciting change journey and are looking for flexible and versatile team members who have a hunger for learning and innovation. Thriving on change will be critical to your success as we develop training needs for our Risk Operations Analysts. As a key member of our awesome team, you will be responsible for developing end to end training programs and learning content. You will create learning experiences to enable our Operations team to quickly onboard and continue learning.

Responsibilities

  •  Use up-to-date knowledge and skills associated with analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation
  • Access and use other expert resources to design and develop training
  • Determine audience needs and flex program design to be applicable for the particular audience
  • Design and develop Technology-Based training (TBT) and instructor-led training (ILT) packages based on data collection and analysis
  • Work flexible hours to support the development and delivery of workshops, which may exceed the typical workday
  • Consistently exhibit a positive outlook and collaborate in a highly engaged fashion with other team members
  • Maintain focus to achieve results and meet deadlines for multiple projects
  • Develops expertise in instructional design process methodology including analysis of the audience, job tasks, the development of curriculum maps, storyboards, flowcharts, performance objectives, testing strategies, and learning activities
  • Maintain regular and frequent communications with development stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of projects
  • Regularly solicits feedback from peers, staff, and managers, and applies the learning to enhance their own performance and capabilities
  • Learning how to utilize metrics to manage and assess deliverables
  • Utilizes internal processes, tools, and systems for on-time delivery
  • Seeks guidance for prioritization and review of deliverables
  • Confidently articulate the value of training and make training recommendations to Sales Leaders that solve their specific business needs
  • Present training KPIs and training impacts to sales organization

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of work experience in, adult Learning/education design and development, Instructional design or similar capacity
  • Demonstrate the ability to conduct end-to-end analysis for learning needs
  • Demonstrate the ability to design performance-based courses aligned to identified objectives and target population characteristics
  • Experience implementing innovative solutions that drive learner engagement
  • Demonstrates storytelling
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Communicates clearly at multiple levels and with diverse audiences
  • Exhibits organization skills and self-motivation
  • Promotes change that supports the business strategy
  • Continuously demonstrates Intuit culture and values
  • Demonstrate an understanding of learning styles
  • Works well independently and in a team setting
  • Proficient in current company technology (Zoom, Slack, GSuite).
  • Expert in voice-over narration and technology

  • Manage projects end-to-end including; risk identification and relating training back to business initiatives

Education / Knowledge:

  • Undergraduate degree in instructional design technology, education, communication, English, technical writing, or any discipline requiring mastery of written communication skills or equivalent experience required
  • Proficient in developing both Instructor-led and Web-based training using a variety of software tools
  • Proficient in instructional design methodology
  • Demonstrate experience in adult learning
  • Proficient in GSuite, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with current LMS technology
  • Experience with Financial Services and Risk Methodology
