The Senior Instructional Designer collaborates with business leaders and stakeholders to design, develop, implement, and evaluate innovative learning solutions for a wide range of audiences within the Retail business unit, including technical and functional skills, professional (durable) skills, and leadership skills. This role focuses on creating engaging learning experiences through various modalities, including eLearning, instructor-led training, and blended approaches, to drive performance improvement and meet business objectives.
The ideal candidate has deep expertise in instructional design, adult learning theories, and learning technologies, coupled with exceptional project management and consultative skills.
Requirements And Qualifications
Please list the minimum requirements (i.e., level of education and years of related experience) needed to perform competently in this position.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Years of Related Experience: Minimum 5+ years in instructional design or learning & development, including experience with the eLearning tool, Articulate 360. Proven success in designing for all phases of the course lifecycle, including needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
Licenses/Certifications: Instructional Systems Design (ISD) Certification. eLearning Design Certification. Membership in professional organizations such as the Association for Talent Development (ATD).
