In this position…

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Learning & Development (L&D) Manager to lead training initiatives that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of our supply chain workforce. This role will design, implement, and manage learning programs to drive operational excellence, digital transformation, and continuous improvement across Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Risk. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for talent development and a deep understanding of supply chain best practices.

A successful candidate will:

  • Demonstrate a strong foundational understanding of the Supply Chain organization.
  • Support the Supply Chain point of view on various special projects across the enterprise or within the organization, with the ability to understand the vision and translate into presentations that tell the story effectively.
  • Monitor project progress, set deadlines, resolve issues that arise, and evaluate performance and effectiveness.
  • Identify areas of opportunity, develop, and transform the Learning & Development experience.

  • Ability to communicate with executive leadership and prepare necessary, relevant material applicable and strategically designed to targeted audiences.
  • Possess strong organizational skills with an ability to work well in dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do…

Learning & Development Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive learning strategy aligned with business and supply chain objectives.
  • Identify skill gaps and create targeted training programs to upskill employees in supply chain operations, technology, and best practices.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends to integrate cutting-edge learning methodologies and technologies.

Training Program Design & Delivery:

  • Design and deliver engaging training programs, including e-learning, workshops, certifications, and on-the-job training.
  • Develop instructional materials, job aids, and digital content tailored to supply chain roles.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to create customized learning solutions.

Technology & Digital Transformation:

  • Leverage digital learning tools, learning management systems (LMS), and AI-driven training solutions to enhance workforce capabilities.
  • Implement gamification, simulations, and hands-on learning experiences to improve retention and application of knowledge.
  • Measure the impact of digital learning initiatives on employee performance and operational efficiency.

Talent Development & Succession Planning:

  • Create career development pathways for supply chain professionals, ensuring a pipeline of future leaders.
  • Support leadership development programs to equip managers with strategic decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with HR and supply chain leadership to align training with talent retention and workforce planning initiatives.

Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement:

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure training effectiveness and business impact.
  • Collect feedback from trainees and stakeholders to continuously improve learning programs.
  • Use data analytics to assess skill development trends and adjust training strategies accordingly.

Qualifications

You’ll have…

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Education, or a related field.
  • 7 – 10+ years of experience in supply chain, Education/Learning, or a related role.
  • Experience with supply chain management systems and organizational areas (e.g., Direct, Indirect, Programs, FCSD, STA, SOT)
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly proficient use of Microsoft Tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Microsoft Teams, etc.)

Even better, you may have…

  • Master’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or Education disciplines.
  • 3 – 5+ years as a people leader within Supply Chain
  • Knowledge of Learning & Development strategies
