The Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University is a community of 30+ people committed to making the world a better place for children, particularly those who face adversity early in life. Our vision is an equitable world where all kids can achieve their full potential. We do this by leveraging science and the real-world experience of practitioners, policymakers, pediatricians, and families to build the knowledge, shape the mindsets, and develop the skills and tools required to create more effective early childhood policies and programs in the US and other regions of the world. This role will serve as member of the Partnerships and Engagements (P&E) Team— a team that engages with partners, within the U.S. and globally, to make our science content and products useful across diverse contexts by co-creating learning opportunities that build knowledge to use science to improve impact. The Project Manager for Learning Engagements will support the design, management, and facilitation of high-impact learning engagements such as programs, workshops, webinars, and toolkits focused on child development.
We are seeking an individual who is skilled and passionate about the design, development, and delivery of high-quality, high impact learning engagements, including programs, workshops, webinars, and toolkits. These engagements aim to foster mindset shifts regarding the importance of the early childhood period and make the science of early childhood development (ECD) actionable for key stakeholders. The PM will support a portfolio of partnerships and projects that build the capacity of constituents to understand, apply, and effectively communicate the science of ECD; identify opportunities to test and iterate upon pilot products; contribute to making the Center’s offerings accessible and culturally relevant to diverse audiences; and takes on a range of other responsibilities appropriate to the PM role.
