The Manager, Learning role within the Talent Density Center of Excellence (COE) under the People Success team will focus on enhancing the entire manager experience at Coinbase. This role will program manage and facilitate learning sessions that connect all aspects of manager effectiveness, while finding ways to drive efficiency and set clear expectations for Manager level employees. This role will aim to streamline and improve existing learning and development programs, ensuring managers operate effectively and with high impact.

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

  • Serve as DRI (Directly Responsible Individual) for manager effectiveness across Coinbase (L7 and below)
  • Closely connect with business and across people team to ensure Manager Success Programs reflect highest priorities
  • Design & facilitate in-person and virtual learning experiences
  • Run 3x/year manager onboarding programs
  • Continuously improve in-seat manager job-aids (Manager Toolkit)
  • Work closely with People Operations – Service Delivery Model to fill in any emergent gaps
  • Ad-hoc – create learning content for company priorities that uniquely impact manager population (previous examples include “Just Ask, Just Share” feedback and “Managing Underperformance”
  • Consult on content creation and communication aimed at managers from other parts of the people team (perf, hiring manager) or other core functions (security, compliance, etc.)

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

  • 7+ years of experience in learning and development, program management, or HRBP position
  • Solid program management skills (planning, communication, managing stakeholders)
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Comfort in ambiguity and agility in the face of change
  • Experience piloting and pivoting based on feedback
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% – more if not located in New York or Bay Area
  • Willingness to be in-office 2 days / week, 12 weeks a year (to facilitate workshops)

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).

Pay Range: 

$166,345—$195,700 USD
