Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, Learning & Development to lead our growing L&D team. In this role, you will oversee the design, development, and delivery of engaging and effective learning experiences for Tactacam employees, partners, and customers. You will manage a team, including an Instructional Designer and an Operational Support Trainer, while collaborating closely with stakeholders to identify learning needs and drive performance improvement.

Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy:

• Lead and mentor a team of L&D professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive L&D strategy aligned with Tactacam’s business goals and objectives.
• Manage the L&D budget and resources effectively.

Learning Design & Development:

• Oversee the design and development of a wide range of learning programs, including onboarding, product training, sales enablement, customer service, leadership development, and compliance training.
• Ensure learning solutions are engaging, interactive, and incorporate adult learning principles and best practices.
• Leverage technology and multimedia to enhance learning experiences.

Absorb LMS Management:

• Administer and optimize the Absorb LMS platform, ensuring effective content management, user experience, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain LMS usage guidelines and best practices.
• Troubleshoot LMS issues and provide support to users.

Training Delivery & Evaluation:

• Facilitate training programs as needed, both in-person and virtually.
• Establish and track key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and make data-driven improvements.
• Stay abreast of emerging L&D trends and technologies.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Proven experience designing and developing a variety of learning solutions.
• Strong familiarity with Absorb LMS or a similar learning management system.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Passion for learning and development and a commitment to driving business results.

Bonus Points:

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with eLearning authoring tools.
