Your ‘day To Day’

The Manager Learning & Development is responsible for developing, deploying, and managing the learning and development offerings across the U.S. organization: This includes leveraging existing global content and creating local programs as needed based on organizational needs. The goal is to provide employees with the best experience in upskilling and reskilling their capabilities, ensuring maximum integration and relevance of learning and development activities, and minimizing duplication of effort and spend.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Collaborate in creating and deploying the L&D strategy to support the business strategy.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders at local and global levels, including vendor relationships.
  • Design and implement the PMI Campus strategy to enhance our e-learning offerings by creating a U.S. one-stop shop, integrating global and local resources.
  • Provide expertise and leadership in setting standards and best practices for learning design, promoting their adoption across the company.
  • Assess the impact of learning solutions and initiatives using various metrics, and adjust strategies based on feedback and results to ensure effective capability building. (Eg. Global Programs)
  • Utilize and manage Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other e-learning tools to enhance the learning experience.
  • Utilize data and evidence to identify and manage capability needs and gaps.
  • Coordinate with the Commercial Capability Building team (IQOS & SMNA) to apply capability frameworks that ensure business sustainability.
  • Lead PMI’s exploration of innovative L&D practices and integrate new approaches, tools, or technology that increase learning effectiveness.

What’s ‘nice to have’?

  • MUST BE: Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • MUST BE: LOCAL TO STAMFORD, CT
  • 8+ years in the P&C function, including work in learning and development (L&D) and participation in cross-functional projects.
  • Experience in developing and deploying L&D strategies in the U.S market.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders and vendor relationships.
  • Strong facilitation and delivery skills for learning initiatives.
  • Proficiency in using data to identify and manage capability needs.
  • Expertise in setting and promoting standards and good practices for learning design.
  • Ability to evaluate the impact of learning solutions and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Proficiency in using LMS and other e-learning tools.
  • Experience with learner populations not regularly connected to computers during business hours i.e. manufacturing, retail, hospitality, food service, etc.

Annual Base Salary Range: $148,000-$185,000
