Summary:

In this role, you will manage a team of instructional designers whose primary responsibility is to design, develop, analyze and implement learning curriculum, programs, and course content for our members. You will utilize various project management techniques, adult learning principles, and technology to support internal and external business partners with their learning and education needs. This role will report to the Senior Director of Member Education and Learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coach the instructional design team to improve efficiency, ensure quality, and meet learning and education needs.
  • Provide insight on new and innovative approaches to instructional design, incorporating emerging trends to ensure leading-edge learning offerings.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, program directors, and subject matter experts to define instructional objectives, learning outcomes, and other performance solutions that meet the requirements of Vizient and its members.
  • Conduct analysis to determine if learning needs and expectations were met.
  • Responsible for developing e-learning and videos to support learning and education projects.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working in instructional design required.
  • Advanced proficiency in authoring software such as (Captivate, Camtasia, and/or iSpring) required.
  • Expertise in e-learnings and videos required.
  • Must possess experience with and knowledge of adult learning principals.
  • Prior experience managing people required.
  • Prior experience working in a matrix environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in an agile environment desired.
  • Health care background or experience is a plus.

Estimated Hiring Range:

$88,900.00 – $132,250.00
