If so, then we invite you to apply for the Learning Technology Support Manager position with the University of Arkansas Global Campus Learning Technology Support (LTS) team. The LTS team is responsible for providing support to instructors and learners in adopting, using, and trouble-shooting learning technologies. The LTS team plays a key role in building a creative learning environment, removing barriers, and expanding the educational reach of Global Campus in for-credit, non-credit, and workforce development learning. The LTS Manager will lead the day-to-day operations of the team, while also working closely under the Director of Instructional Design and Support Services to develop and execute the team’s strategy. The LTS Manager will also be responsible for maintaining and growing connections between Global Campus and other units of the University of Arkansas. These relationships should foster trust and teamwork and allow for open communication.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in educational technology, information technology, or a related field from an accredited institution of higher education
  • At least five years of experience in learning technology support
  • At least three years of experience managing people
  • Proficiency in Learning Management System and other learning technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least two years working in higher education
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation
  • Extensive experience in learning technology support

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High degree of judgment, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Knowledge in Learning Management System and other learning technologies
  • Knowledge of FERPA and Security requirements
  • Strategic thinking skills to align the team’s priorities to the organization’s mission
  • Strong project management skills to simultaneously manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and to prioritize tasks
