Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or education-oriented field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience as an instructor, in curriculum development, or as a professional educator (such as K12.)
  • 2 years of experience in stakeholder and project management within the learning and development space with global know-how and flexibility to work across different time zones and cultures.
  • Experience in adult learning theory, instructional design, and assessment principles to develop and implement learning interventions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master’s degree in instructional design or related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in Sales Training or Sales/Product Enablement.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors to drive learning design execution.
  • Experience in leading curriculum development initiatives, managing stakeholders and running multiple projects or work-streams.
  • Ability to record designing and implementing product/ business intelligence learning programs for sales organizations at scale, including training for internal and external audiences.
  • Excellent business judgment to inform curriculum development cycles with appropriate scope, anticipate resource needs, and adjust plans in real-time.

About the job

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the planning, design, and implementation of enablement programs globally and across all business/service channels for Google’s suite of product solutions. You will use data and design thinking to drive business results through designing and building multimodal learning experiences. You will join a team that develops and delivers business skills, knowledge, product enablement and business-supporting initiatives for sales teams and product enablement to our customer facing teams including sales, customer engineers, and professional services. You focus on building a learner-centered strategy and driving impact by working closely across all relevant stakeholders (product, sales, service, marketing, enablement, learning) to secure buy-in for inclusive learning solutions to support front-line sales products and capabilities learning needs. Your efforts will ensure proper landing and execution of product and business knowledge programs globally that support business objectives and enable individual growth.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholder teams (e.g. Product, Sales, go-to-market (GTM), Marketing, Engineering, Tools, etc.) to identify learning needs, define business objectives, and develop product and business intelligence learning solutions for the Google Ads product suite.
  • Apply design thinking and creative problem-solving to develop innovative and engaging, multimodal, learning experiences that incorporate product knowledge, business skills, and business intelligence to drive improved business outcomes.
  • Create engaging and learning experiences for a diverse global audience, utilizing appropriate instructional strategies and content.
  • Apply creativity, problem-solving and design methods to manage a broad portfolio of multi-tiered, multi-format learning programs; manage project scoping, prioritization, development timelines, and resourcing decisions including learning technology and tools in order to inform curriculum depth and tiering decisions.
  • Measure the effectiveness of learning programs and utilize data to demonstrate value to the business.
