The UNT System Human Resources Department is one department made of a team of teams that supports various constituencies and component institutions within our UNT System Enterprise while working together to achieve the vision of becoming an enterprise that is values-driven and customer-focused with an emphasis on excellence, curiosity, and innovation. Position Overview
This position is responsible for designing and developing impactful training programs that enhance employee learning, foster team development, and align with organizational goals. This role collaborates closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), senior leaders, and stakeholders to create engaging learning materials, deliver training sessions, and assess effectiveness across diverse audiences. The specialist leverages instructional design methodologies and cutting-edge technologies to deliver both traditional and digital learning solutions, while also contributing to team engagement by fostering a collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning and growth. Additionally, the specialist works with senior leaders to ensure training programs meet strategic organizational needs and drive performance.
Candidate must be able to travel to UNT Dallas for required on-site presence once a week.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, or related field and two years experience in instructional design, learning development or related field, or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training.
