Position : Zonal Sales Trainer – South

Location(s) : Banglore, KA (Working from Home – Travel required to Kerala and Tamil Nadu)

Experience : 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience as an Automobile Sales Trainer in the two wheeler segment

Duration: Full-time

Qualification: Graduate in any stream with additional qualification(s)/specialization(s) in the Automotive industry.

  • SPOC for South Zone for all training related activities in the two wheeler segment
  • Control and maintain learning ambience within the training session.
  • Provide constructive feedback on participant performance.
  • Conduct assessment and share results with participants/concerned.
  • Assign learning tasks after a training/before training.
  • Conduct certification.

Skills:

  • Should have adequate market knowledge, clear understanding of automobile technologies, awareness of digital technology.
  • Excellent platform, participant orientation, group facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Should possess methodical & pedagogical competence
  • Should have Coaching, mentoring & problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a very dynamic changing and diversified environments.
  • Openness to travel frequently to Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Preparing monthly training calendar and Conducting Training – Training delivery which includes classroom, virtual tools and on job training on site at dealership location.
  • Conducting Training on Product, Sales process, People Management, Business Management to dealer manpower (Dealer Sales teams including Sales Managers / General Managers and need based on the job coaching)
  • Trainer to modify training content with new inputs (minor changes), vetting & validating existing content & mapping competition related content.
  • Consulting brands on effectiveness- Providing feedback on making the training content effective/changing content structure, etc.
  • Ensure the soft skill and etiquette part covered in regular training modules to enhance customer satisfaction & organizational goal.
  • Need based carry out Assessment centre and final certification of dealer participants to ensure the desired quality being maintained.
  • Conducting coaching to enhance candidates’ productivity contributing to profitability
  • Representing Brand values- Trainer to display the brand in terms of temperament, individual brand values and training content/styles
  • Maintain knowledge about brand KPI and assist dealers in achieving the same
  • Report preparation post training and sharing with desired stake holders within 2 days of training event completion.
  • Ensuring training aids arrangement and vehicles availability as & when required.
  • Ensuring self-grooming and upkeep of all records
  • Participation in brand events – Like skill contest, prepare test papers, activities, evaluation, own up tasks and execute them.
  • Skill Upgradation- Participate in trainer knowledge upgradation workshop, Train the Trainer programs, Pedagogy workshops, online upgrade training and international training events.
  • Best Practice and Innovation- Implement best practices in a year in training that impacts learning, reduces cost or improves operational efficiency.
  • Need based trainer to perform administrative task like coordinating with dealership HR manager / Sales Manager / training coordinator for nominations, action plan follows up, manpower data etc.
