Summary Of Position

The Learning Experiences Strategist collaborates with school districts, studio teams, and Learning Experience Coordinators to align district goals with actionable strategies for reimagining learning environments. This role focuses on supporting customer vision, guiding program change management, and helping district leadership implement transformative educational strategies. The Strategist also plays a key role in creating professional development plans to ensure successful deployment and adoption of new environments and experiences that enhance teaching and learning.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Strategic Alignment and Customer Vision Support
    • Work closely with district leadership, studio teams, and Learning Experience Coordinators to translate the customer’s vision into actionable implementation plans.
    • Facilitate the alignment of district goals with program design, ensuring consistency and clarity in the vision for change, delivering vision workshops and follow ups.
    • Assist districts in developing timelines and strategies to manage change effectively during program implementation.
  • Program Implementation and Change Management
    • Partner with district leadership to implement the program vision, providing guidance and support throughout the process.
    • Support the adoption of new learning environments by helping districts address challenges and adjust strategies as needed.
    • Ensure alignment between the designed environments and the district’s instructional and operational objectives.
  • Professional Development Planning
    • Collaborate with district leaders to create professional development plans that prepare instructional staff for the deployment of new environments and experiences.
    • Provide best practice strategies for wide-scale deployments, focusing on maximizing staff engagement and program impact.
    • Support the design and facilitation of workshops and training sessions to ensure sustained professional growth and adoption of innovative practices.
  • Long-Term Partnership and Continuity
    • Maintain close collaboration with districts to provide ongoing support, ensuring continuity and consistency as programs evolve over time.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to district teams, fostering a strong partnership that adapts to the changing needs of schools and students.
  • Advocacy and Engagement
    • Represent the organization in meetings, conferences, and events, sharing expertise on learning environments and educational transformation.
    • Deliver inspiring presentations to district leaders, educators, and stakeholders, building alignment and enthusiasm for the organization’s vision.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years in education, including at least 7 years in leadership roles within public K-12 districts.
  • Advanced degree in education, leadership, or related fields preferred (PhD is valued but not required).
  • Proven ability to translate customer vision into actionable implementation strategies, including change management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience engaging senior executives and educational stakeholders.
  • Expertise in creating and delivering professional development plans for large-scale educational deployments.
  • Public speaking experience, with a talent for delivering compelling presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency with standard business tools (CRMs, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and web research.
  • Must pass criminal background and drug screening.

Note:

All Meteor new hires are expected to attend an in-person cultural orientation which requires travel to our home office in Gainesville, FL. Employees may also be required to travel and attend annual company meetings and events. All business-related travel expenses will be paid for by Meteor per our company travel and expense policy.
