Job Summary:

The Learning Experience Designer (LXD) will support learning program initiatives by collaborating with SMEs to turn technical information into effective learning materials. The LXD will be expected to create new curricula in response to evolving customer needs. Curriculum creation may call upon any/all of the following skill sets: basic project management, training needs/gap analysis, learner analysis, course design, course/module development, course implementation (via LMS or managed web portal), and course/curriculum evaluation. For the course design and development phases, the LXD will be responsible for writing learning outcomes and objectives, outlining course content, storyboarding, creating facilitator and participant guides, developing e-learning courses, and creating explainer-style videos. The LXD will be expected to collaborate effectively with internal team members, as well as internal and customer-side stakeholders.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Video production using Adobe Premiere Pro 
  • Course development using Articulate Storyline 
  • Graphic design 
  • Storyboarding for e-learning or other multimedia content 
  • Collaborating with SMEs and stakeholders 
  • Curriculum design 
  • Developing high quality, interactive e-learning modules 
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong interpersonal skills 
  • Other duties/projects as assigned 
  • Using content management systems (CMS), basic HTML, and Microsoft Office applications

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field
  • Must be a US citizen able to pass a background check. 
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Experience in DoD or Federal Government space, particularly USAF
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance
  • 5-10 Years of experience
  • Ability to work independently, managing competing workloads and demands, and adapt to changing priorities
