This position is responsible for implementing strategies to design, implement, maintain and improve distribution center associate onboarding and learning & development programs.

Must be able to support all BBW DC locations: Lockbourne, New Albany, Columbus and Reynoldsburg.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and coach a team of L&D professionals.
  • Manage cross-functional project workstreams
  • Responsible for delivering a best-in-class onboarding experience though managing new-hire orientation, compliance training and department-specific training needs
  • Develop training strategies and design content for orientation, onboarding, development programs and ad-hoc learning requests.
  • Drive program optimization through innovation and creative solutions; including technology
  • Support change management efforts through understanding the scope of learning needs and providing solutions to impacted associates.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven ability to lead a diverse team across multiple facilities
  • Experience in performance management; driving individual and team development through effective coaching and accountability.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time-management and decision-making skills.
  • Self-motivated, displays a sense of urgency and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to create and maintain positive, cross-functional relationships with stakeholders at all levels, with a focus on customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. (MS Project preferred)
  • Experience in adult learning theory, E-learning and facilitation is preferred
  • Knowledge of DC operations is useful.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
