What You’ll Do:

The successful Learning & Development Manager will have 5+ years of experience developing and implementing a training curriculum for a mid- to large-size business.

The main duties will be to:

  • Identify training and development needs throughout the US, while implementing and sustaining suitable solutions for the overall development of all team members.
  • Cultivate learning that stimulates and propels team members to excel.
  • Educate and mold future leaders for tomorrow’s successes.

Requirements

Skills & Abilities:

  • Must have a track record in designing and executing successful training programs
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.)

Other Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (four-year college or technical school)
  • Experience: 5+ years of proven work experience holding a key role in the training function for a mid- to large-size business; experience as a technical trainer is a plus
  • Computer Skills: Intermediate computer knowledge: Able to create, use and navigate reports at an Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Critical Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Strong report-writing and record-keeping ability
  • Training experience in industrial, engineering, and / or manufacturing companies (Plus)
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (Plus)
