Description
The Amazon Shipping team is looking for a Learning & Development Manager to develop world-class learning solutions for our internal Commercial and Sales teams, including Account Managers, Business Development Managers, and operational support teams across Amazon Shipping. In this position, you will be an architect and leader in creating and improving learning products, from new hire onboarding programs and monthly skill assessments to training on new tool launches and industry-relevant continuous improvement initiatives. You will work on instructional design projects that utilize your expertise in learning theory, instructional technologies, and human performance technology to enhance the performance of Amazonians. The solutions you create will enable improved employee experience, shorten lead times to proficiency, and provide performance support at the point of need. This includes performing needs assessments to identify learning objectives with business stakeholders, designing, developing, testing, and rapidly iterating instructional content for your audience, and developing knowledge and performance observation assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of training. As a Learning & Development Manager, you will own the end to end design and development of learning solutions while supporting multiple learning programs and products across the Amazon Shipping portfolio.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $74,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $144,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
