Summary

The Learning & Development Designer understands what adult learners need to succeed. They can build engaging, dynamic learning curriculum that connects with learners and understand how to implement these programs successfully. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and can prioritize multiple projects while understanding the big picture of where individual modules fit within a larger education strategy. This person will communicate easily with learners no matter their style, no matter their location. They are comfortable with technology and are always looking for new tools and systems to push learning forward.

Description

  • Ability to take abstract concepts (i.e., customer service, patient safety) and create meaningful and effective training solutions.
  • Basic content creation experience (experience with authoring software). Can train expertise but basic skills will be required.
  • Excellent program and project management.
  • Must be highly collaborative with both SMEs and Corp L & D team.
  • Excellent written and visual communication skills required.
  • Must be technically savvy.
  • Must be highly detail oriented / good visual eye.
  • Strong creativity.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience designing learning content
  • Creating, implementing, and communicating large scale learning curriculum across a variety of topics.
  • Must have experience with authoring software including Captivate, Articulate, Camtasia and Captura.
  • Must have experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Instructional strategy, delivery & systems.
  • Strong Program and project management required.
  • Highly relational and collaborative with the ability to influence effectively in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong writing and visual communication required.
