Job Description

We are actively looking to hire a Learning Developer to join our team! Reporting to the Manager, Learning & Development, the Learning Developer will be responsible for seamlessly collaborating with Instructional Designers to develop and produce learning designs in a variety of learning channels including virtual/in-person workshops, eLearning modules, workbooks, etc.

Role Designation: Remote

Accountabilities:

  • Develop learning solutions related to business and developmental needs of our client groups
  • Leverage ADDIE, SAM, agile project management and other instructional principles and methodologies to best deliver the appropriate learning experience
  • Bring innovative and creative approaches to eLearning, workshops, as well as job-aids and video content
  • Create facilitator guides and facilitate Train the Trainer sessions to support the transfer of knowledge to the business partners
  • Facilitate workshops and other learning offerings as required
  • Autonomously handle challenges that arise during projects, devising solutions and communicating with project team members
  • Keep team updated on status of projects to facilitate coordination of department resources, capacity, lessons learned and best practices
  • Coordinate French translation and SME when required
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Education or equivalent working experience in adult learning and instructional design methodologies
  • 3+ years’ experience of applied knowledge of learning software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Vyond, Articulate Storyline and Camtasia
  • 3+ years’ experience in designing blended learning solutions
  • Proven ability to self-motivate, work independently, and manage tasks effectively
  • Easily adapts to learning new technology
  • Demonstrated strong initiative with the ability to anticipate needs and proactively address challenges
  • Skilled in handling challenges and devising solutions
  • Possess excellent consultation and communication skills
  • Proficient in cross-functional collaboration and coordination
