Position Summary

The Learning Coordinator is responsible for managing the logistics, coordination, and execution of best in class learning experiences programs and events.

Core Responsibilities

Program Coordination:

  • Schedule training sessions, workshops, and events.
  • Coordinate logistics such as room reservations, equipment setup, and catering.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for training inquiries.
  • Serve as a producer providing on-site support during training events to ensure smooth operations.
  • Communicate with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.
  • Communicate with participants regarding schedules, materials, and changes.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from participants and facilitators to make recommendations for program improvements.
  • Handle participant registration and attendance tracking.
  • Partner with Learning Experience team to execute processes, including LMS updates, FAQ updates, and/or changes to the Delivery Center.

Facilitator Coordination

  • Assist facilitators with preparing training materials and resources.
  • Ensure facilitators have the necessary equipment and support during sessions.

Material Preparation

  • Compile and distribute materials, handouts, and other resources.
  • Ensure content is up-to-date and available to participants.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors degree in; business, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
  • Experience:   Demonstrated experience or interest in adult learning, training and development, project management, marketing, or organizational development
  • Skills:  Cross Functional Partnering & Planning – Intermediate (NM), Adult Learning – Intermediate (NM), Stakeholder Relationship – Intermediate (NM), Program Management – Intermediate (NM), Operational Functions – Intermediate (NM), Prioritization – Intermediate (NM), Process Improvement – Intermediate (NM), Analytical Thinking – Intermediate (NM), Technical & Digital Acumen – Intermediate (NM)
  • Communication:  Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities with the ability to influence and partner with employees of all levels.
  • Program Management:  Project / program management skills with experience supporting the execution of learning programming at scale.
  • Learning Tools and Technology: Demonstrated experience in leveraging learning management systems and other learning technologies in support of learning program delivery.
  • Analytical Skills:  Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable insights and recommendations.

Compensation Range

Pay Range – Start:

$52,220.00

Pay Range – End

$96,980.00

Northwestern Mutual pays on a geographic-specific salary structure and placement in the salary range for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; the scope, complexity as well as the cost of labor in the market; and other conditions of employment. At Northwestern Mutual, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Please note that the salary range listed in the posting is the standard pay structure. Positions in certain locations (such as California) may provide an increase on the standard pay structure based on the location.
