We’re now looking for a Learning Consultant to work on the development and deployment of learning programs and solutions with one of our clients. This role is responsible for the day-to-day support of the client relationship including a high level of stakeholder management and offering consultative advice on how best to meet their needs.

Based in Germany, this role can be conducted on a fully remote basis however some travel to client sites will be required.

About the role

You’ll engage with Senior-level stakeholders within Learning and the wider business to understand the learning needs of the organisation and how this supports the aims, objectives, values and culture of the business.

Additionally you’ll:

  • Contribute to interactions with business stakeholders that identify business requirements to ensure that learning requirements are suitably aligned to business needs.
  • Use appropriate challenge to test business requirements to ensure that requirements are suitably aligned to the learning function.
  • Support relationships at all levels within the business and HR to be capable of supporting the learning needs analysis, design and development of Learning Solutions with key stakeholders and SMEs.
  • When required, advise the business on the most appropriate learning interventions and methodologies, together with advice on how these can be best procured.
  • Support the coordination and transition from needs identification to implementation of design and/or delivery in collaboration with other areas of the Supplier and business.
  • Following contracting, manage the day-to-day relationship between client, internal working teams, and vendors and escalate any issues.
  • Ensure that Learning Requests are responded to within appropriate timelines and are fully completed to agreed contracting.
  • Monitor service provision and evaluation scores for assigned programmes.
  • Ensure that all required reporting is delivered accurately and on time within the month and that the service delivers to the SLA/KPI requirements.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure that appropriate quality assurance processes are in place, and that the delivered learning achieves the expected business objectives.
  • Provide support to evaluate, pilot and deploy solutions for effectiveness.
  • Develop and present to the business proposed learning strategies and recommend other non-training interventions

What we need

A flexible and proactive Learning Consultant with broad knowledge of learning interventions and proven experience of consulting with senior stakeholders and making suitable recommendations to achieve business goals.

Additionally we’ll need:

  • Fluency in English and German (verbal and written).
  • Strong knowledge of learning and development
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with peers and business partners.
  • Strong analytical and data reporting skills.
  • Well-rounded business experience resulting in business and financial acumen.

Ideally you’ll also have:

  • Working knowledge of organisational development interventions.
  • An understanding of organisational dynamics.
  • Knowledge of the design of informal and formal blended learning solutions to include e-learning, VILT, ILT and Modern Learner.
  • Previous experience of project management methodologies such as critical path, critical chain and agile management.
