Job Summary

Works closely with Learning COE colleagues to discover, develop, and present creative learning solutions to Corewell Health stakeholders. Enables stakeholders to maximize the impact of all learning investments through the strategic utilization of content, technology, and development methodologies to drive learning outcomes and business results.

Essential Functions

  • Exercises foundational principles of adult learning, instructional design methods, concepts of effective application and learning technology.
  • Facilitate needs assessments with client stakeholders, to define the scope of system learning opportunities.
  • Create initiative scope and solution proposals highlighting recommended learning approaches and/or other interventions. Communicate offerings from the Learning COE, established third-party partners, and other learning suppliers/vendors.
  • Evaluate existing learning programs, align learning programs with business objectives and assess learning opportunities for various audiences. Advise stakeholders on best practices, measurement, reporting on impact, and similar learning and development activities to achieve defined performance outcomes.
  • Oversees small to medium sized, multi-faceted projects varying in complexity and involving cross functional experts. These projects may be a portion or phase of a larger project or program. Collaborate with Intake Process Manager, Project Specialist, stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on solutions and programs.
  • Ability to gain the support and cooperation from stakeholders, colleagues, and other parties to achieve a desired outcome consistent with the project’s strategic goals and objectives.
  • Measure and analyze learning outcomes to continuously improve learning effectiveness and business impact.
  • Coordinates cross functional teams as necessary to implement business needs. Hold peers and colleagues accountable to deadlines and tasks. Acts as trusted adviser on learning efforts, leveraging insights about business challenges and opportunities.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Adult Education, Human Resources, Education Technology, Learning Technologies, or related field
  • 5 years of relevant experience in consultation, conducting needs analysis, Learning and Development methodologies with a focus on blended learning, program design, and implementation

Preferred

  • Instructional systems design background
