Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist to join our team. This role will be pivotal in designing, implementing, and managing training programs that enhance employee skills, promote career growth, and support the organization’s strategic goals. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in adult learning principles and instructional design to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Design and Development

  • Create and curate engaging learning content using a variety of methods, including e-learning modules, instructor-led sessions, workshops, and blended approaches.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skills gaps and training opportunities across departments.
  • Develop competency-based training frameworks aligned with organizational goals and AKG’s core competencies and business drivers.

Facilitation and Delivery

  • Deliver high-impact training sessions that cater to diverse learning styles and organizational levels.
  • Train and support managers in coaching techniques to enhance team development.
  • Act as a facilitator to guide change management initiatives and enable effective transitions.

Evaluation and Continuous Improvement

  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs using metrics such as participant feedback, performance improvement, and ROI analysis.
  • Continuously refine and adapt learning programs to meet changing business needs.
  • Research and integrate innovative learning technologies and methodologies to enhance program delivery.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with department leaders to align training initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Build a culture of trust by maintaining transparent communication about L&D priorities and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership to identify and address talent development needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in learning and development, instructional design, or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive execution, energize teams, and cultivate a customer-focused culture.
