Freese and Nichols is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to join our team in on of our following office Fort Worth, Denton, Houston, or Austin. As an L&D Specialist, you will deliver FNU learning programs, facilitate internal and external courses to build skills at the individual contributor and supervisor levels, and serve as a key resource for capability development. Additionally, you will assist with curriculum design and create learning materials.

  • Design learning sessions to meet the requirements of a specified curriculum or to fill gaps in existing programs; develop and maintain relevant content and high quality training resources to ensure high levels of learner engagement and achievement of learning outcomes.
  • Deliver training sessions or short courses, engaging, advising, and guiding learners and evaluating the achievement of intended learning outcomes.
  • Support the identification of learning needs by analyzing performance and competence data to identify gaps in relation to required levels; recommend priorities for learning and development (L&D) interventions.
  • Provide coaching to team members to develop their skills.
  • Design and develop content for training courses to fill gaps in established programs, and run certain external trainings for client needs.
  • Work within Workday to deliver preset outcomes for an area of responsibility.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Learning and Development experience in a corporate environment.
  • Experience facilitating learning programs in multiple settings (face to face, virtual, self paced).
  • Displayed ability to design programs that apply adult learning principles.
  • Proven ability to facilitate learning vs teach.
  • Experience working with an LMS (Workday preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Workday Learning.
