Job Description

Manager, Learning and Development

This role designs, develops, curates, and delivers learning solutions to build critical competencies and skills for key talent segments or assigned business, function, or region; supports the development and facilitation of Global Leadership Development programs; and executes the Global Learning Solutions strategy and initiatives, and supports the delivery of global programs.

Drive – Learning – Culture

Implements global learning initiatives and campaigns to instill and nurture the learning culture in IFF aligned with the global learning strategy .

Executes the strategy and plan on the global delivery of Annual Global Learning Week and post-event actions.

Deliver Global Leadership Development Programs

Assists in defining the learning objectives, course modules, and instruction and evaluation methods for the global leadership development programs.

Develops learning content and materials for assigned leadership development module/s and activities.

Facilitates live instructor-led classroom-based or virtual classes for assigned leadership development modules

Consult and Analyze Learning Needs:

Executes and deploys the Global Learning Solutions strategy, initiatives and programs in the assigned region, business or function.

Conducts a strategic learning needs consultation with Business Leaders and HR stakeholders to understand the business strategy and capability needs in the assigned region, business or function.

Develops an Annual Learning and Development Plan that defines the selected priority learning solutions and projects to be deployed in the assigned region, business or function.

Consults, advices and supports assigned Business/Functional Academies on catalogue management, new offer creation, competency development and learning path design for critical roles.

Design and Deliver Learning Solutions

Understands the priority learning needs, desired learning outcomes, root causes and target audience to recommend options and best-fit learning and development solutions to address the critical competencies and skills needs .

Determines buy or build approach for the required learning and development solution and secures agreement with sponsor.

Designs and develops the learning and development solution, or partners with Specialist , Learning and Development for instructional design and content development.

Delivers, co-facilitate or oversee delivery of priority learning and development solution to address the competency and skills development needs.

Job Requirements 

Education or Academic Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or any other relevant discipline
  • Master’s degree or advanced qualifications in Organizational Psychology or Human Capital Management will be preferred

Experiences:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Learning and Development, Leadership Development or Talent Development
  • Experience in strategic consulting, learning needs analysis , instructional design, development and delivery, leadership development , behavioral assessments, team development , and other learning and development interventions.

Training or Professional Qualifications:

  • Training or certification in instructional design, training facilitation on leadership and/or soft/essential skills or equivalent experience
  • Assessments interpretation and Coaching certification will be an advantage

Compensation ($114,000 – $132,000) is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
