As the Leadership Development, Senior Specialist you will being supporting the Leadership Development team in creating and facilitating leadership development content for the enterprise.

This role is remote eligible, which means you would work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location.

What you’ll do

  • Design, create, research and support leadership development content.
  • Designing training content using PowerPoint, Word and Video
  • Presenting and facilitating training and development content
  • Accessing of training effectiveness
  • Stakeholder management and cross functional partnering
  • Manage multiple projects, priorities, and expectations through strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and interpersonal skills enabled through technology.
  • Collaborates with the greater Enterprise Learning team to drive important initiatives for the company.

Basic qualifications

  • 2 years of Human Resources, leadership development or adult learning experience
  • 2 years of utilizing professional written and verbal communication skills
  • 1 year of storytelling experience utilizing PowerPoint
  • 1 year of training experience including needs assessment, curriculum development and facilitation
  • 1 years of experience using content management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience working in a large corporation environment
  • Proficiency with digital design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, etc.)
  • Strong grasp of knowledge/information organization and management principles and practices
  • Educational experience (certificates, programs, degrees) in adult learning theory or topics related to instructional design
