Our L&D Technology Architect collaborates with our leadership team and business subject matter experts to design engaging learning that enhances business performances. They play a key role in designing and developing high-quality learning content to meet the needs of Spectrum.

As an Instructional Technology Architect, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining curricula and programs used to train employees in a variety of functions. You’ll conduct needs assessments, select instructional models, and design instructional content.  You’ll also curate content and teach experts how to generate and share content. Effectively implements instructional programs. You’ll administer multiple company-wide Learning and Development applications to ensure the integrity, usability, security, and performance of these applications. This role requires at least 4 years of design or development experience. It’s a career that develops as you do, with opportunities to grow.

What Our Instructional Technology Architects Enjoy Most

  • Conducting reviews of training materials to ensure learning objectives are met
  • Providing enhancements and revisions to existing materials based on SME/Stakeholder feedback
  • Diagnosing risks to design projects to appropriate L&D leaders and stakeholders
  • Managing all functions of eLearning design, including storyboarding, scripting, assessment, and multi-media inclusion
  • Designing and developing comprehensive learning solutions, incorporating multiple deliverables to meet business and performance objectives
  • Providing leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to peer team members
  • Monitoring solution performance and recommending technological changes to increase uptime, stability, and security

You’ll be collaborating with leadership team and business subject matter experts to design large-scale, engaging learning that enhances business performance, with minimal support. You’ll serve as our front-line application support to analyze and resolve end-user escalations related to outages, limitations, and enhancement requests. What You’ll Bring To Spectrum

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Instructional Design and development experience 5+ years. Project management 3+ years
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Adult Learning, or equivalent experience
  • Technical Skills: Effective technical skills that increase personal capabilities, speed, and quality of learning interactions. Can effectively utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Can effectively utilize web browser (Chrome, Edge) developer tools to troubleshoot. Can leverage advanced and emerging digital learning tools, delivery methods, and platforms. Can update existing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Skills: Critical thinking and analytical skills. Can prioritize and organize effectively. Project management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Abilities: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Can provide guidance and support to others on using designated technology to perform tasks. Can deal with the public in a professional manner
  • Travel Ability: Office environment.
