Job Description

The Global Data Insight & Analytics organization is looking for a learning and development professional focused on developing abilities for emerging technologies/roles such as Google Cloud Platform, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Data Engineering. This role will work within the Talent Development Team and be responsible for developing and conducting needs assessments, creating training strategy, developing communication as well as partnering with learning and development/communications team members across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

Learning and development:

• Work with technical experts and vendors to identify new employee skillsets related to emerging data, analytics and artificial intelligence technologies such as Google Cloud Platform, Large Language Models, Data Engineering, Software Engineering.
• Build and curate engaging learning/course content using standard methodologies for instructional design, including agile course development and UX/UI learning design.
• Ensure learning solutions are crafted and maintained within the enterprise learning management system.
• Liaison with other skill team leads to ensure program alignment and resource sharing across the enterprise.
• Serve as enterprise POV owner for specific emerging technologies and partner cross-functional teams to drive learning strategy alignment.
• Create learning support material/media (audio and video).
• Create and implement learning/upskilling events including events such as Hackathons, training events, learning cohorts and awareness presentations.

Communications/community:

• Grow artificial intelligence, Ford’s data platform, and analytics skillsets across the enterprise
• Partner with technical experts to build an engagement strategy that drives growth of community of practitioners
• Create communications related to emerging technologies
• Maintain and update sharepoint site content
• Build and present training strategy updates for team members/leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Communications, or related field
• 5+ years of experience working in Instructional Design, including proven history of needs assessment
• 5+ years of experience with learning theories and instructional design models
• 5+ years lesson and curriculum planning experience
• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design of learning materials
• 5+ years of experience writing effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
