About the role:

The Instructional Designer & Content Developer III (Electrophysiology) collaborates closely with business partners, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other key stakeholders to create high-quality eLearning experiences that support business goals. This role involves developing instructional content and designing interactive, multimedia elements, including Storyline interactions, graphics, animations, and videos. The position reports to the Digital Medical Education Manager.

This hybrid opportunity requires 3 days onsite per week with the option to work from Maple Grove, MN or Marlborough, MA offices. 

Candidates will provide work portfolio links as part of the application process. The interview will include a portfolio review and discussion.

Your responsibilities will include:

Partner with Subject Matter Experts to:

  • Develop digital learning content that aligns with identified outcomes and goals.
  • Conceptualize and execute Storyline and Rise projects to deliver impactful learning experiences.
  • Design creative learning solutions that are visually engaging while adhering to BSC brand standards.
  • Ensure training deliverables consistently meet usability and learner experience standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study.
  • 4+ years of experience in Instructional Design and digital content creation using platforms like Storyline, Rise, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of user experience principles.
  • Proven experience in editing documents for clarity and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Master’s degree in Instructional Design
  • Proficiency in innovative approaches, including graphics, video, xAPI, JavaScript, animation, web design, and other technical skills.
  • Experience working in regulated industries such as technology or healthcare.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with an innovative mindset to meet deadlines.
