Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Two years of full-time experience working in instructional design. Experience using instructional technologies. Experience with designing, developing, and delivering instructional workshops and/or courses.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Degree (foreign equivalent or higher). At least three years of experience working in instructional design. Experience with inclusive pedagogy. Experience building online/hybrid courses. Experience with Articulate or other eLearning software tools. Quality Matters Certified Higher Ed Peer Reviewer, Quality Matters Teaching Online Certificate, Applying the QM Rubric Course, OLC Online Teaching Certificate, Articulate training, and/or similar.
Brief Description of Duties:
The Instructional Designer will provide pedagogical support for faculty through consultation and dissemination of relevant instructional techniques and technologies. The position will provide academic instructional design consulting, guidance and support to faculty and TA’s, and will collaborate with content developers and other instructional designers and technologists for the consistent delivery of exemplary courses.

This is a full-time appointment. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Minimum salary threshold must be met to maintain FLSA exemption.
In addition to the employee’s base salary, this position is eligible for $3,087 UUP annual location pay, paid biweekly.
