Job Description
Essential Position Duties:
The Instructional Designer is responsible for creating high quality, engaging and innovative learning solutions for professional enrichment of Toyota Material Handling dealers.
- Develop highly engaging and interactive learning solutions
- Collaboration with various stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify training needs
- Create content that aligns with organizational and departmental goals
- Applies advanced adult learning theories into practical application
- Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design
- Provide exercises and activities that enhance retention and adoption of learning objectives
- Devise modes of assessments, such as test or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course
- Maintain project documentation and course folders
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- Additional duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in instructional design or educational technology
- A minimum of five years’ experience designing, developing, and delivering emerging learning solutions
- Strong proficiency with industry standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Storyline and Captivate)
- Strong project management skills to achieve design target timelines
