Job Description

Essential Position Duties: 

The Instructional Designer is responsible for creating high quality, engaging and innovative learning solutions for professional enrichment of Toyota Material Handling dealers.

  • Develop highly engaging and interactive learning solutions
  • Collaboration with various stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify training needs
  • Create content that aligns with organizational and departmental goals
  • Applies advanced adult learning theories into practical application
  • Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design
  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance retention and adoption of learning objectives
  • Devise modes of assessments, such as test or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course
  • Maintain project documentation and course folders
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
  • Additional duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in instructional design or educational technology
  • A minimum of five years’ experience designing, developing, and delivering emerging learning solutions
  • Strong proficiency with industry standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Storyline and Captivate)
  • Strong project management skills to achieve design target timelines
